19.09.2014 – Tallinn’s latest blackbox theatre opened it doors on the 19th of September

The grand opening of this new 3000 m² theatre building in Telliskivi Loomelinnak took place on the 19th of September 2014. We were delighted to be part of this project as the client’s project management and cost management consultants. The project was completed within budget and within allocated time frame, which is a testament to HML’s services.
A former factory building has now been transformed into a modern blackbox theatre, which houses a 450 seat performance hall, rehearsal hall, dance studio hall, all necessary back of house auxiliaries and modern office facilities, which also includes a restaurant.
Construction commenced in January 2014 and was completed in August 2014.
Vaba Lava theatre building was designed by Allianss Arhitekid, built by Messiehitus OÜ and the project was managed by HML Project Management OÜ.
